Behavioral Therapy
(according to "Heilpraktikergesetz")
The aim of therapy is to help you overcome psychological difficulties and emotional imbalances. We will work together using proven cognitive behavioral therapy to alleviate symptoms and positively influence your personal behavior.
Together we will set goals and I will show you how to recognize and transform your thought and behaviour patterns using applicable techniques. This type of therapy focuses on identifying and changing unproductive ways of thinking to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and more effective coping strategies.
Cognitive behavioral therapy is particularly effective in the treatment of:
- Burnout
- Depression
- Anxiety (social phobias, panic disorders)
- Sleeping disorders
- Eating disorders
- Somatoform disorders
- Adjustment disorders
Behavioral therapy offers...
…practical approaches to actively work on your recovery and support a sustainable healing process that strengthens your mental health.
I also support loved ones of people with mental or behavioral disorders in dealing with the associated challenges. This includes psychoeducation, support with coping strategies and maintaining your own mental health.

THERAPY FAQs
Any questions?
Absolutely! I always have a phone call with every new client before the first session to discuss their needs and to determine if behavioral therapy is a good fit for them.
Some tariffs or supplementary insurance policies from private health insurance companies cover the services of a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy. However, I recommend that you check with your insurance company in advance about possible conditions and cost coverage. Billing is independent of any reimbursement by the health insurance company.
Statutory health insurance companies do not usually cover the services of a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy. Of course, I also offer consultations and treatments for self-pay patients.
The sessions either take place in person in Munich or online.
Generally, a session takes between 60 and 90 minutes. How many sessions make sense depends largely on your therapy goal and your emotional and psychological state. I can provide you with a realistic assessment after an introductory meeting.
As I run an appointment practice, the agreed appointments are reserved exclusively for you and are therefore binding. If you are unable to keep an appointment, you can cancel at least 24 hours before the start of the appointment.
I ask for your understanding that I will have to charge my full fee if you cancel an appointment at short notice or do not attend the appointment without timely giving notice of cancellation.
Yes! Confidentiality is an essential part of professional ethics in psychotherapy and forms the basis for the trust between my clients and myself. Furthermore, as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy, I am bound by the legal regulations of confidentiality.
